A list of other great hotels and travel planning information can be found on www.visitlasvegas.com. Many of these hotels have more affordable rates. For example, the Travel Lodge at 3735 Las Vegas Blvd South posts a rate of just $99 a night (during our conference dates) and is within walking distance of The Venetian. When choosing a hotel for this conference, it is advisable to stay on or near the Las Vegas strip. This will allow you to take advantage of the public transportation to get to and from the conference. If the hotel you choose is on the strip, a rental car will not be needed. When selecting your hotel, it is best to check how close you are to The Venetian and ask for the best way to get there from your hotel.

Many hotels have shuttles that run from the airport. The shuttles typically cost around $10 per person. The Venetian hotel does not have a shuttle service. Please contact your specific hotel for the shuttle information. Additionally, taxis will be available at the airport. The cost is typically $3.20 on the meter and an additional $2.20 per mile. A taxi from the airport to the Venetian is typically between $15 and $20.
